What do psychology sessions cost?
My sessions are 60 minutes and are $318 per session, which is the Australian Psychological Society recommended fee for 50mins+ sessions.
What do executive coaching sessions cost?
Executive coaching sessions are 60 minutes and are $349.80 per session including GST. Executive coaching may be tax deductible in some limited circumstances. Talk to your accountant to see if you qualify.
Is there a Medicare or Health Fund rebate for psychology?
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or a referral from your psychiatrist you will be most likely entitled to a Medicare rebate which is $145 for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Private health funds differ and you would need to look at the details of the policy you hold. Sometimes they require you to use up the 10 sessions under Medicare before they will pay a claim.
Do you bulk bill?
Unfortunately I am not able to offer bulk billing except for Department of Veterans' Affairs clients.
Is Telehealth suitable for me?
Telehealth is suitable for most mental health conditions but there are some exceptions. If you have suicidal thoughts, suffer from dissociative episodes or severe mental illness, or do not have a safe and private space to participate in therapy, then face-to-face therapy would be more suitable for you.
